Jim’s Tea Room

Opened in July 2006 as a natural extension of our shop in St. Genis, Jim’s Tearoom has become a popular addition, much appreciated by our customers.

The daily menu includes cream teas, tea cakes and bacon rolls as well as cakes & soups. All the soups, cakes, pies and scones are home-made – and you can really tell the difference!

A full English breakfast can be ordered between 10am and 12noon, every day that the Tearoom is open. On certain days of the week, customers can also enjoy Jim’s delicious fish and chips. These became famous at our annual Bonfire night event and, by popular demand, are now available all year round in our tearoom (not sure if this is true!)

Or you may prefer to browse though our growing selection of second hand books. Lots of English novels and childrens books are available. Bring along your unwanted books and select others in exchange. Or if you just want to buy, they are on sale for 1€ each or 6 books for 5€. Recent newspapers and magazines are also available.

A small ads notice board is provided in the tearoom. Customers are welcome to post their ads on the board free of charge.
