Food

There are now more than 2000 products on sale in Jim’s shop. A delivery is received every second Tuesday from England which includes fresh items such as Sausages, Bacon, Cheese, Bread, Pork Pies, Black Pudding and other favourite chilled foods.
In the freezer you can find a range of fish;
cod, haddock, scampi and prawns as well as Toad-in-the-Hole and Yorkshire puddings.

The shelves are filled with all the familiar food stuffs and non-food items that one would expect to find in a supermarket in the U.K. A small sample would be: a big selection of teas, Cadbury’s chocolates, Branston pickle, Hellman’s mayonnaise, Marmite, Bovril, Fairy liquid, Radox, Dettol, Listerine and Andrex toilet rolls!
All the year round, there is a vast selection of British beers and crisps.

Other Items

English greetings cards and seasonal cards are always in stock and a big selection of box and individual Christmas cards will be in stock from mid-November.

Annual Events

For Easter the shop provides the traditional hot cross buns and Easter eggs. For Christmas, all the necessary ingredients for making puddings, mince pies & cakes are available as well as ready-mades and of course all the favourite Christmas selection and chocolate boxes, not to mention Christmas crackers!!.

On the Saturday nearest to
5th November each year Jim hosts a fireworks night with a giant bonfire and fireworks display. There is a barbeque, hot soup and hot wine and the shop stays open until 10.00pm. A great family night out!

Tea Room

Since opening the tea room in the heart of the shop in July 2006, the shop has become a favourite meeting place for many of the customers who can combine catching up with their friends over a cuppa and buying all their favourite products from home.

Jim’s is the place to go not only for your shopping but also to have that warm feeling of being amongst friends and compatriots.
